Now dont get me wrong but I think he has some of the best ball getting skills there is it is just his commitment that I query.

That example was rediculous.

With a drop to the Burgs wont hurt him as Blumfield wouldn't hold his spot anyway

J2R - If you had 22 duncans then you'd be a sure chance for the spoon. Your team WILL go down fighting every game.

Comparing Rogers, King and Duncan to Bowden is laughable. I'm not saying he's a gun - he stuffed up alot yesterday and by no means am I trying to defend him, but he's trying to be pro-active.

At times I think he's too pro-active and catches alot of his dud teamates out, which makes the error look worse.

maybe so harry but we would go down fighting.
i hate losing but i hate the way we lose if ya get my drift.

Let's start the trade talk now - Bowden and 2nd round pick to Bulldogs for Nathan Brown? A win-win - the Bowden brothers are united and Nathan gets to come to his favourite club ;D.
 
I am just trying to convince myself that the 2nd half was a sign that we are starting to gain a bit of confidence and run into a bit of match fitness so lets hope that continues next week.

On MMM Sam NEWMAN ( bless his soul) said that the reason we won in the manner we did was we stopped playing "stupid football"

I wasn't at the game, but sounded like a pretty fair assessment.

In fairness to Sam he did add that we looked a completely different team when we went direct and played percentage football.
 
THE MAN IS A DUD along with his super coach frawley!!! If you guys can say you were happy about our performance on sunday, you are kidding yourselves!!! Had we played any decent opposition on sunday we would have been hammered!!! And that homo bowden who is too busy playing with himself has to go along with frawley!!! How the f@#k did he get into our best????? Please oh please someone tell me!!!!! How can someone who pratically cost us the game on sunday play an average quarter and get in our best???? What does that say about the rest of the players??? If that faggot is gettting BOGs we might aswell pack it up!!! Sheeds and Wallace would have that little poof out of punt rd so quick he wouldnt know what hit him!!! BUT NOOOOO!! Frawley loves him!!! Dont drag him when he has made his 100th clanger, and when he continually pulls out of contests as to not smear his mascara!!! Leave him on there and drag the kids who have a fair dinkum GO!!!! Frawley just bought himself another week or two with this win but it wont be long!!!!
We all know that the usual is going to happen now!!! We win a game the papers get off our back for a week and starting saying OOHHH the tigers are back and blah blah and the players think OH well done enough for now!!! Who cares about the next 5 weeks!!!!! And we lose to fremantle here in Melbourne!!!!
 
A statistical look at Bowden's ineptitude:

Since clangers started being measured in 98' Bowden has amassed 256 clangers (second only to Crawford) at the whopping average of 1.98 per game. His clanger average is also the second worst in the league behind Simon Black who averages 2.10 per game.

I wonder if the club is aware of this.
 
I dont think anyone here would mind having Crawford or Simon Black at the club. A couple of clangers a game is ok, just as long as the person who does them makes up by doing some good things as well, like Crawford, Black, and even Bowden do.

FYI, we did win on the weekend.
 
Whats wrong with the truth!!!!???? Thats the problem with you guys, you can take critiscm!!!! There is no other explanation for him not to be dragged and dropped for poor displays week in week out!!!! Him and SPUD the DUD are bumchums in more ways then one!!!!

I dont want richmond to lose, and i hope we can win the premiership this year, but that aint gonna happen with the SPUD DUD here!!!! WAKE UP!!!!

I dont think my post was rude uin any way and i cant recall any swearing in it!!!! So a bit unfair on the editing ROSY!!!! we cant just write what we want to hear!!! In a perfect world maybe, but in a perfect world bowden would be out toughest player and kingy would be our michael voss!!!! Enough said!!!

f.u.d., I don't see what someone's sexuality has got to do with their ability to play footy. If you want to say Bowden is a dud then fine but keep any homophobic rantings out of it. This is a site for everyone of all ages (i.e. families).
