As Cambo has been carrying 9 for years he should be able to keep it until he finishes and 17 should be rested for a bit, next captain comes along he takes 17 till he is no longer captain passes it on and returns to his previous number(if he plays on).

i reckon if they resort to this idea, its just going to get really confusing as time goes on. on the richmond website, they have a poll, and one of the options is to have a no. 17 on all the guernseys, every game. i think they would mean on the heart, like on sunday. i really like this idea.
