If Lycett can help win a flag, does that mean there's hope for Soldo?

Ive got more chance winning the coleman. Soldo needs to Goldo

We are likely losing alot of depth.

This might come back to bite us.

Looking at the Generals list, Markov (not on the list) and Menadue need to step up next year, with Graham and Higgins to keep progressing.

With Lynch coming, Caddy probably needs to play more midfield, especially with Conca likely to leave.

I'm hoping that Balta, Naish, Garth and Bolton are given more than a few games next year, we needs to get games into them. Hopefully their preseason, and form warrant selection.

Ripper, was looking for something like this.
we may be losing 5-6 players this year.
Conca, CEllis, Miles, Lloyd, Stengle, Towner, BEllis...of the names that we have heard of so far...that's a bit of depth and experience who could just step in if there is injury and do the job, gone.

also missing liam baker and egglemose smith from that list General.

Ta, Baker, Egg and Oleg have been added.

Lynch added to likely ins.

I'll try keep this updated as we hear news.

The thought of Caddy and Graham in the midfield together is a concern for me

Yes and having only Cotchin, Martin and Prestia as our only genuine inside mids is a concern to me. Inside mid is a role that Caddy did quite well at with the Cats before Dangerfield went there, it's a position that needs attention with our list management. Until we get more inside mids i think Caddy might have to spend more time there.

I have a preferred Rd 1 22 next year as follows

Grimes Astbury Garthy
Short Rance Flossy
Balta Cotchin Broad
Castagna Butler Rioli
Lynch Jack Caddy

Nank Martin Prestia

Lambert Shed Higgins Graham

That leaves a handy list of flankers, runners and small forwards in BEllis Houli Kmac Menadue Naish Markov Grigg Baker and Bolton

We also have developing talls in Chol Moore Miller Cujo and Soldo

Our needs are pretty clear - early in the draft gun mids to eventually replace Cotch and Co. Later in the draft and via trade mostly mature talls to fill the present depth gaps

Picking up a Scully type cheapish for a couple of years wouldn't hurt either

Miller is training as a back and Chol likely to be a ruck option.
Miller looks to be a bit slow to be a defender. His junior footy was as a ruckman first, defender second.

Perhaps they are just fine tuning his defensive game

Miller was lightning fast in 20m sprint. Under 2.9secs I think, which is great for anyone let alone a big man.

He didn't train much though as he lived too far from the club i believe.

Agree super quick. Just needs to use it better and perhaps react quicker.

Happy to be wrong, wasn't aware of the under 2.9 in the 20mtr sprint...must have mistaken him for Soldo hahaha

Updated to show Reece's departure. As well as delisted\retired Griffiths and Hampson.

Definitely need some young talent in the midfield dep

Corey Ellis not making it has left a hole in the 20 - 24yr age bracket.

We need to go all out mids next 2 drafts

Balmey on SEN hinted that our trade will mainly consist of getting Draft picks. Not against this idea as it should also mean next yr we can keep guys like Lambert/Vlastuin etc who are up for new deals etc.
