What number should MRJ wear? should Danny hand 17 over?

I voted no. Danny has worn it in 3 premierships and made it his own IMO

I reckon MRJ should wear the old mans south free no.49

interested to see what 100 or so PRE'ers reckon

Daniel Rioli has played in 3 premierships in the #17 and should keep that number as he has already proven to be AFL quality and will play over 200 games at Richmond.

MJ should take #16 and if he really wants to honour the old man Daniel is 4-5 years older and he can have maybe his last year in the #17 for Dad or the last 3-4 years if he wants.

If I was MJ though i would be waiting for the #9 to become available

Daniel has earned the right to decide whether he does or not. Whatever he wants to do is ok by me.

Daniel will play this year in the #17 to get to 100 games and then hand it over. Expect MRJ to get a number in the 30's this year

Dan to 100 games in 17.
MJ to start in 27 as worn by his Dad. (as mentioned by craig)
End of next year Dan to 16.

Maurice Jnr should be found an appropriate number and I would think 18 would be perfect, right next door.
