Nick Vlastuin

He was super focused yesterday. a few times in last couple of years he has looked frustrated and giving away dumb careless frees like he never did before.
he is the back line leader and can leave a n even greater legacy by bringing the new wave along with him.

Playing behind the ball and last man is thought of as an easy gig by a lot of so called experts. Perhaps they are watching on tv, where it appears as though he (and others like him) just rack up uncontested possessions. But getting to where the ball is going requires superb reading of the play and covering a lot of ground. Seeing it play out at the ground is quite something. I dunno, maybe they just don't understand the game, but it's a skill very few players have and Vlastuin is one of the best at it that I've ever seen.

It was crazy in those last few minutes Sydney won the ball and had 5 blokes in front of their Richmond opponents streaming towards goal.

Somehow Nick magnetised the ball to himself for a chest mark.

If you were a Sydney fan you would have been crying.

Champion Data bloke on SEN just rolled out some stats on Tigga.....
In the past 7 years he's rated top 25 in the competition.
During that period he's No. 4 for intercept marks
In that period he's No. 2 in the competition for points scored coming from his intercepts.

btw..... the *smile* sniper from Geelong is rated in the 50s over the same period...!
Poor Cornes wasn't sure what to say..... so he just came up with the best he's finished in a b and f is 4th so he's not that highly rated from within...... *smile* dìckhead!

Burns -Jones (or whatever his name is) is better. The bloke from Adelaide or wherever. Haven’t seen him in a while. Retired ?

He's that good he's now playing on the forward line..... seeing he's at Port I'm sure Cornes can find him another spot in the AA side🙄

How many back flankers win the b& F in glory years??

You've got to be kidding. He's been awesome this season.
The first couple of matches this season from my viewing on my couch was he made a few poor decisions in play, positions and was a bit tentative at times that was so unlike him. Looked much better against Port and back to his best on Sunday . Probably because I rate him so highly that when he makes a blue I seem to notice it more.
