The National Draft Day was upon us,
The apprehension and tension were back,
Would we use our first picks on Morrison,
Or some bright kids to get us again on track.
Our first picks they were not that early,
Down where it will all boil down to luck,
Most of us all said this time draft kids,
Not sure if the club really gives a Tuck.
So we waited as the numbers descended,
The kids were selected to ease our pains,
For years we have said go for youth,
And this year it never pours but Raines.
In the end apart from only Simon Fletcher,
Youth was drafted for the club to coach,
There was Gilmour, Jackson and Archibald,
Hartigan, and of course young Tom Roach.
The posts on the forum they were running hot,
Some said they would give PRF the shove,
Regardless if we dont agree on what others say,
It shows our united passion for the team we love
