The Age is going with the end of the Clarkson-Mitchell transition, indicating that Clarkson won't coach next year, will maybe leave immediately.

Hawthorn and its legendary premiership coach Alastair Clarkson will part ways at the end of the season, and potentially sooner.
The decision was reached on Thursday after a meeting between the Hawthorn board and Clarkson’s management in which the two parties agreed that the coach would receive a full payout. Vandenberg and Clarskon are understood to have spoken following that meeting and the two parties agreed that Clarkson would finish his illustrious tenure at the end of the season.

Carlton surely will be looking to recruit him in.

Fremantle assistant Josh Carr charged by police for a covid breech. That should upset their planning somewhat.

Flagrant and repeated disregard for the rules. Regardless of the court outcome, it should be worth a pretty hefty AFL fine which Freo can recoup via the AFL's povo redistribution plan.

I take it that Carr will be jailed for this like Stack? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
But. But. But. I just read the article. Stacka only got a $6000 fine, he didn't get any jail time over Christmas / New Year for his Cooties breach. We musta all just dream't it.
*smile* this country is seriously turning to *smile* in a big hurry.

WTF is going on?? Carlscum are flogging St Kiddenme.
Maybe the Carlscum players really love the Teague train after all n desperately want him to stay coaching them for all of next year as well. Would be the perfect opportunity to give Clarko his much needed gap year to refresh before starting again.

Supposed leaked email from Carlton’s internal review says that current CEO Cain Liddle is under heavy scrutiny. Was supposedly a good operator while at Richmond and we should look at getting him back if they sack him.

Hasnt he made huge inroads into their membership numbers, reduced a bucketload of debt and has them profitable ? All no mean feat given the football rabble they are.

Plastic tough. My most hated footballer. Vastly overrated.
there is a way to get to someone like that
vilify them
"what a MAN , someone lying on the ground what a MAN "
"what a tough MAN"
and just repeat and repeat and get in their face make eye contact and keep saying stuff

and yes I have used the tactic several times when people do real cowardly stuff

Two weeks for Viney.

If that's what you get for serious misconduct, you'd have to just about kill a bloke to get half-a-dozen weeks.
