Pick 63, 2017 Ben Miller - Welcome to Tigerland.

People be praising Miller like he’s some kind of rookie in his first season. He’s not, he’s in his 5th year in our system. His claim to fame last night was keeping Ugle-Hagen quiet. An iPad and YouTube Kids would keep Ugle-Hagan quiet.

The reality is he’s getting a game purely because of injuries and is likely to be retained for a 6th season simply because we have absolutely nothing else. Needs to do better.

Was playing on the most over rated no.1 pick since Clive Waterhouse.

Dogs should have traded him last year as looks a bust already. Doesn't work hard enough and looks like a sook.
They going after little Dacs today too.
'32 touches but are they possessions to help the side?"
I reckon every time the media talk up a kid, the kid falls in a hole.
Dogual hogan was compared to Franklin even before they read out his name.
It's not the kids fault but the pressure is uncalled for.
If Bolton isn't the best under 22 player in the comp, I will stop watching football.

He doesn’t fumble - one grab off the deck - and he doesn’t make poor decisions. Two very big ticks. Seems to fit seamlessly on the available evidence

Did someone *smile* in your bed? This guy is someone who lived a long way from any of the junior pathways and trained once a week as an under 18.
He's had less time put into his development than most. I dare say if it wasn't for his physical tools he wouldn't have been drafted at all.
At the same time, we had an automatically selected back 6. He was never going to break into that side while we were in flag contention from as far back as he was coming.
He's spent time being developed as a key forward, before we settled on back. No real games to play in with lockdowns and no VFL.
Yet he looks like he could furnish into an Astbury type. With better athleticism. He looked composed, and like his skills are at the level last night. And you're not happy with that turnaround? Maybe we keep delisting until we find Rance 2.0!

In what was a high pressure, high stakes game he looked composed, didn’t try to do anything adventurous in dangerous areas. His opponent was ineffectual.

What more could you realistically ask from a 3rd gamer?

Was gonna give you a thumbs up for the iPad comment alone - but the second paragraph is a bit harsh. He wasn’t getting a game for his first 5 years because we had premiership quality defenders ahead of him. All he can do is learn during that time and take his chance now. He’s doing OK.

He's nothing like DTLD.

Yes agree, plays very differently - remember when DLTD came into the team they were talking future captain in his first year and was compared him with Richo.

Millar was OK last night but he ain’t going to get to DLTD - x3 premiership player standards.

Solid, but can't play him when we have Grimes, Tarrant, Vlastuin playing together.
Gibcus gets more opportunity for mine.
Miller is good for depth for this season.

FFS! Don't hold back Kong, tell us what you really think of the Bugle :))

Did well for what I think was only his third game in the seniors.

Miller's a late draft pick n had absolutely no chance of breaking into our multi premiership defensive group over the last few years. He's actually had less senior footy than the glamour Bugle n shut him down big time. Can't do much more than beat whatever opponent is in front of you when you get an opportunity to play.

Gibbo looks a winner. If Miller and Biggy can turn into our next key backs that frees up draft picks for other areas. Fingers crossed. But yeah Google-Bagles is a long way from Curnow or King.
