Prestia !!

But an injury prone good player.

Only played 22 games out of 44 in the last two years.

Not worth a pick 6.

What do you expect at pick 6?

Do you realise it is a major gamble at that point? Rarely you will get a stand outstar. Commonly you can get a good player. Frequently pick 6 doesn't make the grade...

So which risk are you prepared to take???

Pick 6 should be a good pick not a big gamble, if out team can' pick a very good player with pick 6 then they should have been replaced with recruiters who can.

Pick 40 is a gamble

You would think... now go check your stats on footywire or similar....

How many very good players are picked up at picks 7 or 8?

Pick 6 is an anomaly.

We shouldn't be superstitious about pick 6.

Has openly stated that Grigg and himself are going to take us to premiership glory

give them Brandon Ellis and someone like Townsend. and keep pick 6.

Players picked at 6, 7, 8 over the last few years

2015
6- Aaron Francis
7- Jacob Hopper
8- Callum Ah Chee

2014
6- Caleb Marchbank
7- Paul Ahern
8- Peter Wright

2013
6- Matthew Scharenberg
7- James Aish
8- Luke McDonald

2012
6- Jackson Macrae
7- Olie Wines
8- Sam Mayes

2011
6- Chad Wingard
7- Nick Haynes
8- Billy Longer

2010
6- Reece Conca :-X
7- Josh Caddy
8- Dyson Heppell

I'd say that list, whilst it has some good players, isn't overly exciting.

What's interesting is there's plenty of quality after these picks. So if we need to drop down to the teens- I really don't see the big deal. Much of a muchness. A lot comes down to development.

Pick 6 is a risk as well

So is giving pick 6 up on an injury prone midget that has missed 20 games in 2 years due to knee injuries
Would rather give up a player for the midget and hold onto pick 6.

FFS I didnt know that he has missed that many games through injury. Def shouldn't give pick 6 for him. Interestingly Gold Coast dont seem concerned at all that he wants to leave

We get Prestia and we keep pick 6 we have done well.
The rest is a bonus

A sensible post Zipps. We must not give up our one and only early pick. From memory our next pick is about 42. By then all the "goodies' will be gone.

Prestia?? please will be a standard Richmond player by rd 14.

Stick to the Draft RFC.. Trade out players and just get as may picks as possible.

looks like we are now heading back to the old days, pick up players again from other clubs and we are going no where...

Take a look at our 5 best players ATM, Rance, Reiwoldt, Cotchin, Deledio and Martin!! all for the National Draft picked up as kids...

please RFC rebuild again with the draft and get the picks right.

Getting rid of Ellis and getting Prestia - win win. I'd chuck Houli in instead of Townsend.
