Prestia !!

He was fantastic BUT he is a butcher.
If could hit a target by foot he would be a star not only for us but in the comp.
The kick for goal in the 2nd qtr straight after Kresuer kicked a goal. He was running into forward 50 under no pressure and just butchered the kick and kicked a point.
A goal wouldve just buried Carlton.

Having a great season for the Tigers.
Yep, being a bit picky here, but if he could just clean up some of his disposal by foot (and be a goal scorer) he would be in the top echelon of the competition as a midfielder.
That said, he's been a ripper player for the Yellow and Black

I agree, one deficiency is his missed shots on goal. Hit a few more of them and he becomes a good offensive weapon as well.
He's having a pearler of a season.

Think we used to mark down The skipper for his poor finishing. Good company.

Im not has happy as others on Prestia.
great he gets it 100 times and he is everywhere on the ground.
but those loose kicks either to team mates or even worse going for goal are team killers.
against Carlton or Melbourne they arent highlighted howlers but against better opposition they will definitely be highlighted.

Whats he kicked this year? 5.45??

Some people are hard to please.

35 Disposals, 11 Clearances, 24 Pressure Acts and 672 Metres Gained.

An elite performance.

Ever thought maybe his kicking suffers because of all the work he does including the hard 2 way running?

Yep Also most efficient disposals 22 and most score involvements 9. Not the greatest kick but that's the case for many two way hard running inside midfielders.

Thought he was a good player at his peak at gold coast but he's taken his game to another level this year.

Yep, hows Cripps kicking? Or Danger? Or Shiel? Or Treloar etc? They are the types he is similar too. I don't think his kicking is significantly worse than those 4 anyway, similar standard.

So balanced and low to the ground and straightens us up with his clearances running straight towards our goals. Love it!

Dion's work rate this year has been sensational. Great balance of contested and uncontested possessions. A fantastic footballer and athlete. It is very disappointing that Brian Taylor feels the need to regularly refer to Dion as "meatball" in his commentating. That nickname just sounds so uncomplimentary and BT should be a lot more respectful of Dion imo.
