Punt Road Redevelopment

Anyone know how the club is going with the funding? Are we still chasing money for the third stage?

I've been wondering for a while if the club has plans for a PRO extension/expansion in 5-10 years time?

The section i highlighted in red (the grassy knoll) looks like an ideal location for a future upgrade.

Introducing, the Cotchin-Martin Stand!?!?!?

No worries it's great to see it coming along. Can't wait to see it finished.

Yep, it appears the club have given the go-ahead for stage 2b?:
Levels 2 & 3 of the Jack Dyer Stand
including William Cooper Centre and RFC Workplace

This obviously makes sense from an overall cost point of view to have it done in one hit but leaves the club with a funding shortfall that Shane Dunne keeps referring to and which they are working hard to obtain.

It has not been mentioned what this shortfall is but I assume it would still be quite substantial?

I think they are on track for completion about July-August next year 2027?

** I believe that only Stage 2c, The Swinburne Centre Refurbishment will be left undone?, or has no Public stated time frame as yet?

I would think the existing Swinburne centre would be totally demolished & rebuilt. But that'd probably be in 10-15 yrs.

Maybe this is the solution to our problems..

In California "Where such a marking is present and one vehicle comes up behind another, the faster vehicle cannot cross the double yellow line to overtake the slower vehicle, must match its speed, and must follow the slower vehicle until they reach a passing zone or the slower vehicle turns off the road. "
