I still wouldn't want to stay out there, i'll be happy enough doing my daily inspection of the PRO redevelopment instead, it is pretty cool

I went out to Ferntree Gully by train last week. Was cool to see the progress from above ground level.

Not crazy about relocating to VFL Park, but Punt Rd needs the redevelopment so I would think choices are limited.

Now, they need to get on with the refurb so we can get back to Punt Rd as quickly as possible.

It's going to be a June/July return to PRO regardless, they are cracking on with the project and they are at the very least on schedule.

I hadn't seen these July photo's before, gives you a better overview of the magnitude of the development considering our land locked space.

Things have already advanced from photo 1 with the concrete plats laid across the grandstand now complete and sealed.

Work continues apace

July 2026: Bricks return and new imagery of the inside of the Jack Dyer Stand

The original bricks from the Jack Dyer Stand have been cleaned and returned to Punt Road. The grandstand seating platform also starts to take shape.
