Round 16 - the Meryl Streep games.

It's always nice to move up the ladder when the team above us loses. Hoping for a big tiger win over the eagles, more % and to go a game clear of the dogs

Who cares
We should be on 40pts today.
Playing finals in Brisbane or Sydney or at Freo this year will be over before the ball is bounced. The umpires will torch us.
For so called calls from the club we entered this year 'with the best preseason ever" we looked out of tune and unfit for the first 6 weeks. Now it's catch up time.
Can't be losing games when your 17pts up with 8 mins to go.
I've lost count how many close games we have lost in the last 2 yrs. I want a review

I assume Eric Hipwood will be in big trouble for pushing his opponent into an umpire?

As we continually say here if it were Marlion or Tom…..

Their list management is all out of whack. They have the most midfield depth in the whole league but nothing in their key defensive posts.

What they should do is trade a couple of mids for at least one good key back. They previously had the perfect chance to trade for someone like Alir Alir who went to Port for a relatively cheap pick.

They should look at someone like a Tom Barrass who isn't a superstar but would infinitely make their defence a whole lot better.

Bigger picture, it might be better if the Saints knock off the scum tonight to keep us in touch with the top 4. We should reclaim a position in the 8 with our run, compared to St.Kilda’s difficult draw.

Best result is a Saints win even though it momentarily puts us out of the 8.

Keeps Carlton 4 points closer.

We go back in should we beat the Covids, and St Kilda will drop off they've got a pretty tough run home iirc

I always prefer the field to be minimised as much as possible, as quickly as possible. Top 4 looks unrealistic to me.
 
Would love nothing more than seeing the saints beat those cocky blues. Put them in their place. Have started well the saints
