Round 21 - the fart from a 15 y.o. dog games.

Collingwood’s pressure was outstanding throughout the second half; they were irrepressible.

This is what the Tiges used to be.

It’s a unique combination of fitness, tactics and belief.

It’s a difficult mix to get right and even harder to mantain.

We were blessed to see it for the best part of four years, which is longer than many.

That’s why it’s laughable when people think that the Tiges are where they are at now because of Dimma’s personal life, or cutting corners with coaching staff or not forever nailing draft pics (even whilst at their peak).

The game evolves; players decline and tactics eventually become outmoded and teams rise and fall.

The Tiges will be back.

And Goodwin wanted him traded last year.
Goodwin isn't a coaches *smile*.
Another Doofus.
He can't see Ben Brown and Jake Melskscum aren't AFL footballers.
You know you are struggling when you have Melksham in your forward line as one of your key targets.

Agree we won't make the 8.
Even last week watch the last 2mins
We gave Brisbane chance's to score.
We don't defend hard enough and our pressure game only lasts in 10 minutes spells.
We are where we deserve to be.
We aren't that good this year
Yep we can still play some sensational footy but we can’t sustain it for more than 2 quarters. When we were winning flags we’d sustain it for 3-4 quarters. That’s just our stars getting older and our young players not being quite up to the mark yet. Blowing games like GC, North, Sydney and Freo doesn’t help. We should be playing finals this year, it’s line ball, but a flag was probably beyond us.

When it comes to winning premierships, you still need to have at least one dominant key forward.

Go through the history books and they have all had at least one. The Bulldogs back in 2016 the exception.

Hate to say it but Geelong in the box seat here.

Agree and its not only important offensively but defensively. You put any of Lynch, Hawkins or Cameron in that Melbourne team, and they would have taken a couple of contested marks in that final quarter which could have been the difference.

Instead they have the windmill, sideshow Bob.

Yeah, unfortunately Pricky's got it in his hands at the moment.

Port Adelaide are a case in point. Won a disproportionate amount of close games last and equally lost a number of close games this year. End result? Made to look ordinary if you isolate performance via the Win / Loss column

They are also having to play Gawn more as a forward because of this. Completely different to how he was played last year.

The Filth have recruited some handy, bargain basement players such as Lipinski, Carmichael, Nobel, Williams, Murphy, McCreery, Cameron, Bianco and Ginnivan.
Pretty sure they're all mid season, rookies or 40+ picks..........................................**** !!!
That's why we need to get McLean out of Sydney.
Tall ruckman that can kick goals

Ok. So the win-loss column is irrelevant then ?

Wow. Simply wow.

2 things about tonight:

1. We are nowhere near either of these teams in a pressure game. No point making finals.

2. Collingwood are kissed on the *smile* bu the umps yet their supporters go nuts when they lose a free that was there. Try being Richmond you *smile*

Tom Boyd did a pretty good impersonation,

But yeah.

I still think

$hai Dusty MRJ
jR Lynch Lazer

Get it done.

Thats 5 dominant key forwards and a rioli

The only box seat geelong will get close to,

Scott will have to invade with 10 minutes to go

And masquerade as not an ungracious psycho

So what and why is everyone pulling themselves over Jackson.
Every time I see him he is no better then an Coleman Jones or Griffens.

Elliott got 2 free kicks for holding the ball,
When 99% the time aren't paid because there was No prior opportunity.
The noise from the crowd pays a huge part.
The umpires hear it and blow the whistle.
Watch the free kick against Petrecca, he throws the ball, there's a pause, crowd screams and the umpire blows the whistle.
I reckon tonight they got 3 free kicks directly in front of goals from the crowd.
2 to Elliott and 1 to Pony tail
