Out from last weeks team are Craig Biddiscombe, who has been promoted to Richmond, Ben Holland and Clinton King are both missing due to injury while Daniel Flaherty has been omitted.
Into the team come Paddy Steinfort, Duncan Kellaway, Brad Rayson, Djaren Whyman, Steven Jarrott and Ben Wilkinson.
Steinfort and Kellaway are returning from injury while the other players have all been given an opportunity at senior level following their good form in the reserves.
The two new faces are Djaren Whyman who was on Hawthorn's rookie list last year and Steven Jarrott who has spent the past couple of years at Springvale. Djaren is an exciting wingman with plenty of dash and a big leap. Steven is a small defender who is very hard at the ball with clean skills.
