Yeh, it will get ugly. How was the free to Ugle-Hagan late in the last that could have drawn the dogs level with just over a minute to go? We can only dream of receiving that sort of free.

It is the ones we do not get that really punish us. How long are players being allowed now to get rid of the ball? It seems now they can get swung 360, take to ground, prop up, look for an option and get the handball away. Since when have you been allowed so much time to dispose of the ball once tackled? Again, it seems like an interpretation change has taken place without anyone really knowing it. The AFL have arbitrarily decided to give the tackled player more time to get rid of the ball. I am sure the rule used to state that the tackled player has to immediately dispose of the ball (or attempt to dispose pof the ball), that is no longer written in the laws of the game.

The 50 against Lefau in the 1st - what was it for? The 50 at half-time. The free and 50 against Miller in the last. The 50 against Shai. The AFL will tick them all off and say they are technically there, why does it seem that the tigers fall on the wrong side of these things?

The OMO box is much better, seriously. Its an embarrassment. The design is pathetic, and the early 2000s font just tops it off. I agree with the sentiment though, you can't be taken seriously, or take yourself seriously, when you jumper is a joke. The good news for them is that as a new club, and a very unsuccessful one at that, they can overhaul it and all their supporters will be relieved.

Yes that is the most frustrating thing, the 50s, and most of the frees, are technically there, so any complaints will be looked at as individual incidents and met with that response. But its the trend that is backed up by the numbers that is the issue.

It will never happen but there should be an inquiry into the umpiring. The 4 umps and inconsistency with that, the prior opp/ spilled out/ HTB, the stand/ outside 5, deliberate OoB, reviews, ducking/ too high, the inconsistency in how different KFs are treated.

Even putting aside the fact we are shafted, the numbers don't lie, its a shitshow. So much inconsistency, half-baked rules that cause more problems than they solve, there is so much to get frustrated about, us fans, the media, umpiring is constantly being discussed. A very basic, transparent, semi-independent inquiry (you'll never het an independent one and I understand that) wouldn't be a magic bullet but it would sort out a fair few issues and improve things.

Will be interesting if Blobbo brings it up with kermit on 360. If he does can see kermit dismissing it pretty quickly with some typically condescending quip.

Yes undoubtedly. The afl rug sweepers, men in black, would already be on the job. Issuing statements to be used by all the state afl media outlets on how to deal with this.
Deflect, a change of subject. Umpire respect and support. “Think of the children” who aspire to become umpires. dumbclucks.

All Wanker needs to do is glance at Blobbo's rambling with his smug face, nod his head pretending he agrees, and then change the topic with a smile on his face like it never happened.

Yep but record crowds so everything is great.
