how about a whole row of statues lining the Walk of fame, something like this:

That feels more like a Richmond thing to do! Team over individual.

A team of brothers, arms linked, that any new draftee can walk past everyday and feel like he's looking at his own future. It's more attainable than if they're walking past an individual superstar that gets worshipped and represents heights that hardly any future players will ever individually reach.

Spend the currency of success in ways that inspire the next generation to band together, grow, reflect on special values, etc. Individual statues point to the past with a measuring stick in ways that can sometimes make it harder for future players, let alone help them, so I don't see any benefit to them.

You can always make giant printed posters of former stars (or giant LED boards for advertising that display alternating images of past greats) - there's better ways to respect the past than through the almost antiquated concept of a physical statue at the entrance of a physical building.

A line of statues would be great. Past and present players.

How about instead of a new stand we build something out of marble…..parthenon style…..busts of the 17 GF team and management inside. Could always throw a few seats on the roof somehow

I think we need to consider who hasn’t got a statue. Royce Hart 4 times premiership player and 2 times premiership skipper, Francis Bourke 5 times premiership player, Tom Hafey 4 times premiership coach.

Dimma can’t have one if Tommy doesn’t. Maybe only Dusty with 3 flags, 3 normies and a Charlie. Cotchin , our most decorated premiership skipper.

If Cotch got one the sculpter would need a special skill to capture the bouffant.
