Read Dew trying to justify getting rid of Jarrod Lyons (age 27) from the Suns who is now blitzing for the Lions.

Said that if Lyons played with the Suns he’d be limiting the opportunities for younger players in Darcy McPherson, Will Brodie, Brayden Fiorini.

So they had to delist him...

...and recruit Anthony Miles...aged 27.....

....and are interested in getting Shaun Burgoyne...age 36....

Apparently he isnt a very good 2 way runner.
In saying that neither is Miles.
Lyons would've been a good pick up for us.
He gets a shitload of the ball and im pretty sure thats the aim in the game of AFL.
Gold coast are just a ronald donald plastic club that would struggle even if they had the next 20 first picks in the draft.

And yet fails to play Brodie at the expense of Miles. As you said Miles is no better than Lyons as a two way runner.
