One of those posters 'in the know' on the Geelong BF site reckons Scott met with the Club and says he is "burnt out", trying to work out a settlement.
Burnt out, before he gets turfed out.

Ross the Boss? Perhaps why he rejected the Carlton offer. He's made it pretty clear that he wants to coach - so it was a surprise he dropped out of the Blues job.
Ross won't go to a rebuilding club, not his deal. He wants a club on the cusp, so he can trade all their picks for defensive minded role players, so he can win games 52-48.
Geelong have no picks to trade and are declining.
I see him more interested in a club like GC17

Ross left the Aints in a whole & it took them almost a decade just to make Finals again. Cant's list is older than Aints were, Ross would in a roundabout way be inheriting the mess he left at the Aints. swings & roundabouts....

"Gimme a break, I've burnt the list out, sorry I meant give me a break, I'm burnt out"

If true, gutless. And solidifies his legacy as being all about him and his quest for that flag that wasn't Joe the goosed.

I'd prefer he went down with the ship,.
Wallace x2, Lyon x2, now 2 x Scotts. Some coaches just don't want to see their legacy thrown under the bus. Doesn't mean history or the fans won't remember the cowardice.

The genetic material shared by twins is amazing,

they burn out just as it becomes certain everything they've worked for for years,

is falling apart,

after having failed in Brad's case, and not succeeded in Chris's case.

what amazes me about these blokes, is how they keep their reputations.

If I grew spuds, and they were classed down as B and C grade by McCains for years, then I sell a run down desert farm with a heap of mushy diseased spuds in the ground,

nobody goes 'Jeez, great spud farmer'

Geelong have dropped there average age profile for 2022.
After Lachie Henderson announced his retirement
Geelong's average age has dropped from 99 to 98.8 yrs .
The old Codger from Brisbane should take over when Scott gets the ass next year
