Shia. I don't think he is even officially recognised as a "sheikh" or imam. But for now his views coincide with mine, so I support his public disparagement of Sunni-brand Islam.

I once asked a Sunni about the difference between Sunnis and Shia, and got "They're the mad *smile* who whip themselves."

Just by importing the two, we're asking for something worse than the Balkans conflict.
