Umpire farce - Getting worse by the minute!

Where the only side in the competition that can play an interstate side on there home paddock and still get ripped!

Whinging about umpires when we played like we played today is just trying to deflect the blame.

If the good RFC turned up today the umpires wouldn't have had any influence on the match.

Too tru Zipp.... The crowd was going beserk at times but the idots just blindly went their normal route as screwed us over oblivious to the noise. When in the west a crowd goes like that the fair pee their pants and throw in a large number of home ground shockers.

I agree Balooga.

Second to the footy usually results in second in the free kick count and second on the scoreboard.

Correct, and this goes for any game.

Fair enough. Doesnt stop the fact we got right royally rogered by these maggots yet again today.

We were smashed in going for the ball pure and simple, and today was a day where that was the key.

It is actually hard to believe sitting here that we lost in this area of the game after the last 2 weeks.

Please. Do not lower yourselves to blame the umpires for the *smile* sandwich OUR players forced us to eat today. It is a cop out. The umpires don't cause undisciplined footballers to give away stupid frees.

I disagree. The margin is basically a bad call that robs us of a goal and gives one to them. I reckon that happened at least 3 times. It was a tight game and we never got a chance to build any momentum becuase as soon as we'd look likely they'd find a way to stop us.

Watch the game again. It works both ways. Crowds don't boo for nothing.

Dont tell me that if Nahas had the deserved 50 given to him and goaled it would not have lifted the team and if Vickery who had his head ripped of was give his deserved free and goaled momentum would not have shifted our way ...... of course we played poorly and of course we were outplayed in contested possi etc etc but these maggots change the flow of play...

It was rather interesting how they didn't seem to see the clear infringements by Fremantle players, but could pick out ones for Richmond players. The 17 - 7 free kicks at half time when all other stats were pretty close and Freo only being up by a goal tells a story in of itself. The AFL also needs to look at the elbow into Newman's guts by Ballantine, and the little solar plexus punch Cotch got when running back to the centre. They then need to ask the umpires to explain why they didn't see or report either of these incidents, because both were pretty obvious.

No, they boo for everything.

A team is blamed for a loss when it's a large loss of about 30+ points not just 12 points. We were outplayed by Freo's rugby style and especially in wet conditions, but umpiring decisions are always an influence to the result when so many free kicks are called. They should just stay quiet and transparent and let the players win the ball their way.

How was Ballantyne's whack to Newman's guts compare with King??

We didn't play good enough to win but geez the umpiring was horrid in the end nothing surprised me... there was one stage in the second where one of our players was taken high and dusty looked at the umpire and pointed at the player who was still taken high and the umpire just shrugged his shoulders.
