7 free each last quarter. Was 4 to 13 at 3 quarter time. They just let several frees to Richmond go but paid to WC. It’s infuriating.
I said at half time they will give us some when we are 8 goals down.

They missed kosi getting held 2 times in the 2nd qtr.
Lefau was held.
Baker hit in the head.
And eagle players were allowed to hold the ball for ages.

You useless *smile* cheating *smile* incompetent *smile* corrupt pricks.
4 free kicks in 3 quarters. You *smile* dills.
At least normal service has resumed.

Any chance of the club asking the umpiring fraternity what’s going on?
Take some video clips with you and show these *smile* wits why they don’t have the respect of supporters..

Weren't the reason we lost. but stuff me were they woeful and painful to watch. Eyes only for them, hair trigger on any half, and even imagined infringement on them, nothing for us until the last Q when we got a few. Completely lax setting and enforcing the mark, and protected area, when we had the kick. So infuriating.

They have single handly fked the game.
Goal reviews when a blind dog could see it went through.
Decisions or non Decisions that send you over the edge.
Failure to pay a free kick and then they pay 1 for the opposition.
Watching Curnow week in week out get under 12 free kicks. At stages he asks and they pay them.

Must be Optus. Was it last year when we played freo there and freo were so skilful that we only received 1 free kick in the second half?

Harley Reid's shoulders count as his head. While the commentators were all creaming their pants over his fend off, he was paid a free for a tackle around the shoulders.
he was untouchable today thats for sure. It was bloody annoying because he didn't need the frees, he broke the tackles regardless. Umps were starry eyed. It was almost as if they were jealous he was getting all the attention, a couple of frees he got the ball was called back when WC pretty much had it anyway. But yes. In a rare exception these days, because it was HR, they showed slo mo replays of his frees. After awkward long silences, commentators said 'mm, not really there was it?'

Liam Baker doesn't have a head.
Out looking for it now; bumped into Toby Greene still looking for his since the final against the AFL-ordained flag-winning Skunks, implemented through their agents on the grounds - them in lime-green .

Only certain heads are sacrosanct to the AFL - and very few heads of RFC players are included in the valued list - but if you're a Yeo or a Reid playing for WCE today, drop the knees and duck all you like. The green men will see it and reward you.

consistently inconsistent
No just rigged and corrupt. They exercise a significant role in manufactured results IMHO. They cannot have total control but have serious influence via umpiring. Mostly driven by commercial motives I believe e.g. huge extra revenue in 1st Skunks' flag since 2010, Dees turn in '21, Geelong '22.

We completely blew the control system apart winning at least 1 more flag with 2020. The 2017 was a great story; '19 was an anomaly with Covid, but '20 was a complete aberration for them. They want to banish us back to the ars-end of the ladder for decades again now, much like the Dorks who got away with far too many flags too.

I'm trying to figure out who they favour this year, watching closely. Umpiring is a key clue. Think the Bloos, Freo, Brisvegas or Poort would all be good promos for AFL and revenue generators. Swans always good - gotta keep the game growing up there!

It might even be GWS's turn, after we spoiled the party in '17. But hiring that ex-RFC AC Kingsley is a negative. Bummers and GCS planned for over next few years?

Floated the idea yesterday that the reason there's been so many score reviews this year is linked to the crypto sponsorship.
The more reviews there are the greater the opportunity to flash the logo on the screen..

definitely.

even a commentator during the Tiges game said, "it must be a directive" when a review was called

Reckon it's a case of never letting a good crisis go to waste. They may have been spooked by some controversial non calls last year but used the guise of mitigation to raise their advertising revenue.
