Welcome to the Tigers - Daniel Rioli

Imagine the roar he's going to get when he slams through his first goal.

I don't know if I'm more excited about the extreme potential this kid brings or the fact that the Rioli name returns home.

Either way I'm stoked !!!

Highlights on RFC website - feel better about this pick now. very busy and quick in the forward line. got that quick few steps and attack like cyril. can be a real good pick if he can gain some size and strength.

There was never any doubt he was coming to us. Welcome Danny Boy, but let's save #17 for Son of Maurice in case he makes the grade

Have some very fond memories watching Maurice as a teenager....very excited to see another Rioli in the yellow and black.

I'm sure a solid citizen could have been picked, but it's time we rolled the dice. Welcome Dan!

Exactly mate

Stoked to see a Rioli at Richmond. Cyril played in a premiership in his first year at Hawthorn, didn't he? I'm dreaming!

180cm, 71kg. Looks like he might be stashed away with Menadue for a couple years.

I know very little about this crop but looks like we've selected more for need/xfactor/potential this season rather than vanilla/best performed. Hopefully it pans out.
Vanilla's worked out pretty well for a few years, but now we need some speed and excitement in the team.

Rioli ran 2.89sec in 20m.
Won the 30m repeat sprints (24.15 sec)
Top 10 in vertical jump and clean hands test.
14.6 beep test.
