Agree that he tagged Petracca & tried his heart out. Could be a role there for the rest of the year.
May miss a week for the tummy tap on Oliver as that's frowned on now.
Jack Viney instantly regretted getting involved.
Viney is the most over rated footballer I've seen.
Pickett shouldve kod him

Christian only fined Pendles for an identical act a few weeks ago. So Marlion will get 2 down to 1.

Did a grea job but is a liability with ball in hand.
Exactly. Not many have ever questioned his tenacity but 1st kick of the game, a dribble kick straight to the opposition, is typical of his disposal these days. Was a better game though. If he gets suspended a game, can't afford to miss any more for the season as will otherwise have to play next year to reach his 100.

Seriously, Marlion better not be rubbed out for that in light of the Pendles precedent. Should be a fine at the most, barely anything in it. Oliver played it up big time.

What's the bet he is though. They'll probably add a rough conduct charge for the melee afterwards and give him a week.

Christian will give him a week because it’s not Collingwood
But…………
Add in the Richmond tax and it increases to 4 weeks
And don’t forget the Marlion Pickett tax ( the AFL have missed hitting him up recently), and he gets 6 weeks plus a $5000 fine
Richmond appeal because that’s been successful for other clubs recently. Pickett gets banned for life

I have never seen anyone throw Marlion to the ground on his back - they always end up on their backs

84 games kids. 16 to go.
85.

He had 8 clangers, 3 of which were frees against. Shai had 8 clangers, 0 freees against. Hugo, Oliver and Kozi Pickett had 6 clangers each. Petty had 7, from 6 disposals.

Only three players on the ground had more contested possessions. And he mostly quelled Petracca.

Barring injury, suspension or a drastic drop-off, Marlion will play every week this year and probably plenty next year as well.

Spot on. Gets a very very soft ride on PRE. If his name was Ross or Ralphsmith or whatever, the constituency would be howling, overwhelmingly.
There is no one l‘m less confident about hitting a 25 metre kick correctly than Pickett.
