Welcome to Tigerland - Tim Taranto

Taranto's tank taking him up and down the ground is going to the perfect replacement for Lambert. I hope he is used in that role, if he is, he'll kick close to 20 odd goals.
If the squad can have a decent run with injuries, Hopper the bull, and Taranto exploiting his tank will take us deep into September.

It's unbelievable how the media are down playing Hopper & Tarranto.

Get ready for balls to be flying out of the middle.

On this year's shopping list a better ruckman

Flawless first few months from Timmy.

Returned early in immaculate condition, winning time trials and looking like a future captain.

Can’t wait to see him in the real stuff.

How good is it to have a trade recruit come into the place and set new standards at training?

Had the theory put to me from a good source that Taranto's time trial form is part reflection on him, and partly a reflection of where the rest of the group was at in terms of hunger.

Hopefully he stings the rest into action.

Did Taranto win time trials at the Giants ?

Interesting.
Are premierships won by time trials in january?
It could be that the training edge has softened. Older stars looking to pace themselves through the season.
Injuries and age are good excuses to drop 1 or 2%.
We dont have Ellis to set the training standard.
Our captains are not the elite runners, Cotch wouldve been pushing the top end but not now.
So maybe.

BUT KMac and Broad are standing out.
Hugo and Ross the youngsters pushing hard.
Season 22 burning a hole.

Think we have the hunger and professionalism and structured approach to have high training levels

would expect nothing less. he does a 16.8 beep test. which is World class endurance level.

Probably, no doubt he is a strong runner. The person I was talking to was more coming from the point of view that our former midfield and wannabe midfielders are miles off the benchmark.
Pretty obvious from how our midfield went in 2022

Just a point to prove to Cameron!

I would have thought PBs were very important for players at this time of the year and I haven’t seen any information on that.

Happy 25th Birthday to TT today.

Good to see they placed him and Hops in the promo photo (Bakes looks funny with blood running down and Mozza looks 10 years older)
