First, the benign Peter Schwab is booed as he walks down the Telstra Dome race after the Hawks have been skinned by the Cats.
Then, on Melbourne's blue Monday, it was the Demons' turn, as the supposedly genteel Dee fans turned on their pitiful team. One Dee-monstrator was even ejected from the rooms.
Listen to football talkback for an hour and you will hear supporters of a struggling club demanding either the coach's head, or a cull of the player list, or both.
This year, as they take to the airwaves and unofficial websites, Melbourne and Hawthorn supporters - groups not renowned for irrational ferocity - increasingly sound like the ever-angry Richmond hordes. ;D ;D ;D
