LTRTR question.

Does experience count in the PF?

Does history show that the most experienced side wins the PF to get into the GF. ?

Are both PF normally close results or is one of PF a blow out?

What are the results of PF when the home team is host??

Thanks Waiting.

Good question. I feel that our experience at this time of the year cancels out their home ground advantage, but does the data back it up?

Our Grand Final is on Friday.

Win that and we'll formalise it against Brisbane the next week.

Good result.
No home ground advantage to either side,
Hope the Brisbane crowd have tonight’s loss deep in their minds and turn up to barrack for the Tigers.

So both Qualifying Final losers have won their semis and gone on to beat the other Qualifying Final winner in the Preliminary Final and reach the Grand Final.
It basically means the Qualifying and Preliminary Finals have amounted to the first two rounds of a full three-round round-robin between the top four teams and all four are 1-1.
All that matters is the sequence of events as to who gets through.
There is also a situation where Richmond beat Port who beat Geelong, and Geelong beat Brisbane who beat Richmond.
All this has never happened before.
