RICHMOND v Geelong
Saturday, 2.10pm, Telstra Dome
Kayne Pettifer has been suspended for three matches after appearing before
the VFL Tribunal. Pettifer was outed for one match for pushing an
opposition player into the fence while playing for Coburg Tigers. He was
also given a two-match penalty for striking. Meanwhile, Leon Cameron
believes the situation the Tigers face this year is different to when
Richmond lost nine matches on the trot last year. "Last year I think we
were just playing pretty ordinary footy. The six games we have lost in the
past six weeks were one by two points, one by a point, Brisbane and
Adelaide by a couple of goals and we were in it till halfway through the
last quarter. So, it is not as if we were getting routed like last year.
We're not far off it. We were in touch the last two weeks against two of
the top sides."
