Not too long ago people had given up and wanted him gone too.

We need a little patience at Punt Road

Patience is in good supply at Punt Road, is just the internet that lives in the perpetual present of bad game = permanent did.

He is definitely playing more confidently & aggressively as well. Confidence in his body maybe?

Of all our erstwhile whipping boys, the only one I never understood why. Of the others I either agreed or I could see the logic even if I didn't agree. All I could put it down to was he dropped a couple of sitters once. Always thought he was the prototype modern backman meself.

His early games showed what he is capable of when he has 50-100 games in him, unfortunately with his injuries its taken some time.. I think without injuries this kid will be a gun.. I for one hope he has a good run for his next 100 games and i will make a big call but i could see him being an AA in the future if he stays injury free!

Unfortunately IMO he takes time to come back to good form from injuries, some players like Lids resume normal gun activity...

Lids said on 360 that we had a couple at the club who were good at exploiting it. He didn't name any one, but I'm pretty sure he had Dylan and Miles in mind. King was good at it, too. If the umpires are going to keep paying them, then Dylan would be silly not to accept them.

Our captain went weak at the knees last night too.
It's a blight on the sport the way head high tackles are being milked now.

One of the reasons I dislike soccer is all the freaking diving. This is a blight, agreed.

Reckon Dylan is back to his best. Regularly beats his opponent and is very neat with the football. Has popped up for some very nice intercept marks recently as well. Glad he seems to be over his injury woes and has become an important part of our defence.

Agree, taraba. Playing very well. When he wasn't destroying Menzel last night, he was humiliating Everitt.
