Changes vs GWS

Whoever goes out will be stiff. I imagine DES will be one. I’d drop Soldo and have Chol play ruck but I doubt that’d happen.

Potential to come back in the next few weeks...

Jack
Nank
Caddy

Plus waiting in sidelines...

Balta
Baker
Naish
Higgins

Not to mention LTIL

Rance
Ross

Outs.... ????

Macca did not have a good game. Macca does his best work when we are getting pressured - he gets to the contest.
Could see Caddy for McIntosh and Derek for Jack (Sydney goes back).

Don't think Chol could play first ruck, but he is handy up forward and as a second ruck. Jack in, do we go for a taller forward line? That would throw a few other teams off, could throw us off too. Caddy might have trouble getting back in if we have Lynch, Jack and Chol in.

Not easy choices.

back on the MCG no chance macca gets dropped, probably no change for mine.

In Baker Riewoldt
Out McIntosh
B Astbury Broad Grimes
HB Edwards Valistun Houlie
C Bolton Martin Cotchin
HF Rioli Castagna Lambert
F Stack Lynch Riewoldt
R Soldo Graham Prestia
I/C from Baker Chol Egglemosse-Smith Ellis Lambert ??

I’m guessing that will appease the fact no one deserves to be dropped and continue the conservative approach with Jack? He needs games in his legs and the team needs to gel with the JR & TL combo sooner the better...

Those thinking that Macintosh will get dropped will be severely disappointed. He ain’t pretty but bloody important on how we structure up especially at the MCG.

I think Rioli might be on shaky ground although will probably be Eggy.

Kmac is important but he was particularly awful today with ball in hand.

I dare say the Egg might well get poached for Jackmond.

I know he played well today but he has got his taste of the big time and someone has to make way for the return of JR8.

It won't be Cholly he's gowing too well and having an impact.

Mcintosh and Ellis have been mediocre to awful lately. One or both need to be dropped. No way Eggs or Bolton go before these 2.

Bellis was ok yesterday. KMac wasn't brilliant but he won't be dropped for the rest of the year. Way too important on the G

I think Jack will come in for Chol.

Done nothing wrong, but MC are pretty conservative when it comes to structures.

Who plays second ruck?

Lynch or Astbury may need to do it.

An alternative change might be Jack for Egg.

I want Chol to stay in. When we play Collingwood he could be our best matchup for Cox.

If Hardwick is picking sides on form
Then McIintosh and Rioli need a spell.

Therefore Baker and Sampson come in

I would be dropping Soldo before Chol.

Last 2 weeks the opposition ruckman have been in the bests.
