Pick 53: Jack Graham

The kid did hit his head on the ground but he lay motionless for about 30-60 seconds which I reckon he was initially stooging for a free kick, then realised nothing was coming his way so stayed motionless because he was embarrassed. When the trainers finally arrived they patted him on the back and he instantly stood up and ran off the ground without showing any signs of bother.
Therefore it was a ‘nothing here move on moment’, so Christian will cite him and the AFL politburo will give a week, guaranteed
Hopefully they’ll take into account that Graham got the htb free over the incident. He did nothing illegal or dangerous. It’s a contact sport, people will unfortunately get knocks that really aren’t anyone’s fault.

Of more concern to me was the maggots forcing Jaaack2 to re start play while the port bloke was still down and being attended to almost under his feet. WTF.

Reckon he’ll be dropped tonight. Played wing against Port opposing Karl Amon, who beat him.

KMac and Caddy both looking to come back for a spot on the wing tomorrow night.

Agreed, if Graham isn’t a winger then I suspect given Caddy is even slower he is even less of a winger. Outlines the club’s need for a seasoned genuine winger

Doubt he’d be any worse than Graham on a wing, but his edge is the ability to go forward.

Why is Caddy and Graham being tried there then?
They're trying to squeeze in guys with proven talent, who can each play 2-3 roles. Kmac plays one role only. We may still end up going with him, but they are tinkering with versatility at present. In a year's time, it will be Balta on a wing, because of his incredible talent and versatility.
