Remember the days it was only Harry, Smoking, Leysy and maybe one or two others trying to explain Labletts virtues in the face of a PRE onslaught from all and sundry of his short comings.

Star!!! And has been at every level he’s played.

So suited and integral to how we play.

A joy reading this thread now. No need to intercept anyone’s posts at all ha!

Re: Welcome to Tigers: Kane Lambert

Old campaigners unite. Pour out some liquor.

Between old mate Lambert & young buck Short with pinpoint foot skills, could this be the rookie draft of our dreams?

And it was. Chuck in George it was an amazing crop.

Back on Lambert, the link man. His importance to our style might not be matched by any other player on any other team.

Another great game by Lambert. Alot of his quick clean handballs in the wet was missed at the ground until you watch the replay.

Another Tiger that is so underrated by so many of the opposition at their peril. Has become one of our indispensables and we are a poorer team when he is out.

Re: Welcome to Tigers: Kane Lambert

Hope in time to be able to nickname him "BTC" - Better Than Craig; a tall order, but aiming high is key

dont know if he's better than Craig, but he's one hell of a player for us. What a gun he's turned out to be

Just another 21 disposals, 4 tackles and 2 goals. He is a star, No 48 in Robbo's top 50 before the season, reckon he moves up a few spots post season.

Has gone past the likes of Heppel, Parker, Selwood, Viney, Smith.

Think it was mentioned on Fox post game how he's so important to the way it allows Dustin to play at his best.......
Ultimate team first player!

Have to admit whilst I never put him down (I think ive only ever done that to Hampo as he was truly awful), I never saw him being this good.

Saw glimpses I think with a few early games in 2016, then was injured and didn't get back to that level really until2017 when he had a great season and hasn't really missed a beat since.

Would be one of first picked as would the other link 2 way runner Prestia every week, love both of these guys, Lambo definitely more dangerous forward centre whereas Dion more so defensive centre... Both absolutely integral to how we move the ball so quickly.

From my viewpoint Prestia is a better player when Kane is on the park. Has happened all season and most of last as well. Whatever, Kane is invaluable to our cause

An armchair in Sydney
I loved his goal on Friday when hit Tom with a pass at the 60 and then rather than slowing his run because "job done" he actually put the burners on and out-sprinted the Scabbie into the open forward line and ran onto the kick from Tom to toe it through.

Then a few minutes later was last line in defence spoiling through a rushed behind.

He's added another string to his bow, goal kicking. Has kicked 8 in his last 4 games. 2 goals a game would put him 2nd on our list for average goals per game. Amazing player for where hes come from.
