Caracella going to Essendon

so true zipps!!!

its a lost to us but must be on huge money to go

safety net for the club when they sack the current so called coach ....stkilda and Carlton said hello

I think we should sack Leppa, and replace them with Richardson and Brad Scott, so 2020 will definitively indicate which coach won us the flags.

Cara is a system-seller.

Once it’s implemented, it’s implemented.

RFC have coaches who can teach it.

Nothing else for Cara to do except sell the system somewhere else. At a higher price.

Business. Essendon gain, but we lose nothing.

The kicker? Essendon haven’t recruited for the system. Not yet.

*smile*. If it all falls apart from next year, it can't be put down to coincidence.

Maybe he feels Dimma is set for a while yet and is the post-Worsfold succession plan.

Worsfold will be under pressure next year. He can't survive this much longer. I expect Caracella will be caretaker coach by round 12.

Would like to see Jordan Lewis join our coaching ranks after he retires.
Can see him as a mentor to Jack Ross and Jack Graham.
Jordan doesn't respect Richmond. He's one of those players that (whilst polite) has a subtle contempt for the team (IMHO)

Forever a key part of the drought breaking Premiership, thanks BC...........next

Caracella and Rutten were crucial in the changes of 2017.

Druggies don't have the players to be a force so they are going to try and implement a system based style hence hi jacking these two from the RFC.

Already see them trying to implement our defensive style trying to utilise Hurley, Francis as an intercept player, whilst using the likes of Ambrose and Hartley to play close on opposition forwards.

Theyve had to lose Hooker who is their best defender to cover their lack of forwards.

Their team isn't yet good enough to pull it off, and they have no forward line.

Luke Hodge would be much better.
Would be bloody happy to get Hodgey in as an assistant coach, but he'll be in nappies as far as coaching goes. Carotsella has been around the traps for a long time and supposedly had a huge input into our change of game style when he came in, could be hard to replace his tactical nous.

Well that makes this year more crucial, unless Dimma gets to keep his phone a friend card next season.

On assistants you need a lateral thinker, so Lewis and Nick R a no but Hodgey a yes.

Knighter would keep them on their toes.

Blake is a very good assistant coach with some good system ideas but so have plenty of other assistants out there. Thanks for the hard work Blake but as one Richmond door closes another one will open up for a new assistant with fresh ideas

Who would want the job? We've had the best ball movement in the competition for three years (after being among the worst in 2016). Your results would be constantly compared to Caracella's. You're on a hiding to nothing.
