We were timid, spooked, rattled, freaked out in the first. I thought it was all over but that kind of win sets up a finals campaign. Classic win
Wayne Carey stated after the free against Jack in the last q for studs up that if the AFL come out during the week and say it was the correct decision we may as well pack the game in. Agree.
IMO Rioli has been living on borrowed time for over a month. Ross looked out of sorts for mine too
So much to like about today's victory.

Bit harsh...wet, greasy ball and playing against very good opposition who want it just as much as we do.
Soldo was bloody fantastic. If Nank returns he stays and Chol makes way.
Bagged Caddy early on but his clean hands were immense when we needed them. Best game for a long time.
Martin. Just WOW. One of the best individual performances I've seen in a long time. If he doesn't get 3 votes its a joke. Singlehandedly kept us in the game early on.
Best game from Jack R for a while.
Houli bad early fantastic in the 2nd half.
Vloss same
Prestias second half was huge. Was a bull with the ball.
Bolton and Edwards did some critical things in the clutches when we needed them.
The Bad. Castagna. For mine I reckon Aarts would be a worthy inclusion for him.
Rioli. Has to be on his last legs surely. Gave us nothing. Pickett or Stack straight swap.
Ellis. Panic merchant extrodinare.
Lambert. Is not providing the same run he was earlier in the year. Last couple of games have been average.
Jack Ross. Should have played a few games in the ressies. Still rusty and is showing.
Overall a massive win.

Mollison should be sent to the lower leagues just for his inability to bounce the ball. *smile* it up 3 times in the 1st quarter alone.
The bar I was at in Hoi An was filled with ex-pat Tiger supporters and the place was roaring.

My point is based on watching the opposition handle the ball better in the same conditions, and we do this quite often in dry conditions too. Is it a tactic?
Great win. Let them back in a few times in the last quarter but our guys just kept giving. This list of players is seriously good - best in my lifetime & I’ve been going since 1980. Onto the Lions next week. While Martin was sensational and is now in Brownlow form, Soldo was the difference - gave us first use in the wet. Chol experiment over. Nank if fit or Balta back in. Cotchin will come in probably for Ross. Hopefully Stack is fit for finals.
A huge win. Really gutsy. It was like one of those feel good sports movies when the team is really poor and tentative early but they end up really cracking in all over the field. The midfield was smashed early but really turned the tide.
Big win..finals like intensity and we prevailed. thank goodness we have all those ordinary players.
