the argument is that the severity of Haynes' injury wasnt known at the time, they thought he was ok, so it was low impact.
then according to something somewhere the AFL cant appeal the MRO, but can the tribunal, cos the tribunal is independent.

It seems quite clear the decision of the MRO was taken in the absence of all necessary evidence.

That the medical report was not available when the MRO sat on Monday, doesn’t excuse them. They made an assumption about a medical condition which field is beyond their expertise. They chose not to seek out the medical report. They decision ought to have been deferred pending receipt of the medical report.
That wasn’t a competency based assessment or decision.
Remind me why Martin is ineligible for the Brownlow, please.

Beat me to it Bernie!
Total ******* farce that mrp

Hadn't seen the Toby Greene footage before but it doesn't look great.
Same here, and once again there's the proof about this media trying their best to down us.

Why not keep highlighting what that mongrel did instead of an incident as light as a feather with Grimo??

I watched it 10 times. (AFL site) what does he actually do??
There is a 10 second video which shows Greene headlocking Bomptelly
Big deal

Big deal!! He's rubbing Bont's head to the ground continuously and maybe eye-gouging him.

7 just showed a video of the incident. Green looks likely to be looking on for a very long time.

MRP continues to be an inconsistent joke.

Grimes uses his footy intelligence to reverse a free kick and save his team a likely goal after a shocking free kick. Yes, he took a dive.

Natanui grabs Merret by the throat and throws him into the fence.

Yet they both receive the same penalty !?!?!

Channel 7 news highlighted Grub getting fined for staging n Greene being tribunaled for being a gutless little *smile* head. Nothing of course on Zorko getting fined for diving or Himmelberk for his cheap gut punch also on Bont. Believe there was a few other fines dished out as well, bloody *smile* poor the media highlighting only one or two n ignoring the rest. One in all in I reckon. It's a wrap up of the weekends games so why not give all the misdemeanors instead of just one or two?

If Greene gets found guilty it's about time they kicked his arse. Minimum 3 weeks so he could miss out on a Granny n all his team mates know how much his arsepick efforts cost the rest of the team.

Bravo TM I haven't heard the word arsepick for 3 decades. Very much underrated term and a good fit for Greene.
