Round 6 other games

The advantage, play on rule is a joke. They pay it when they shouldn't and don't pay it when they should.

Carlton becomes only the 3rd team to kick over 100 points since this shortened game started.
Who'dda thought that?

Carlton beat Footscray, who have been patchy but their recent form has been good. Hawthorn were pathetic against Collingwood, a couple of weeks after making us look silly. Port finally came up against a decent team last week in Brisbane, and lost, then beat GWS this week.

One word for this season: weird.

what makes me sick is how he fits into thier Academy criteria given it's for kids that grew up in non AFL backgrounds....

Its Bullshitt.
Realistically the club is too blame.
They should've been into him when he was 11 or 12.
The West coast way, hide them away and then use a 4th rounder to recruit them.
Darling, they were spreading rumours that he doesn't take the game seriously and he is lazy
First chance they got in the draft, they picked him up.
Dean Kemp a pick in the 100's and in a interview he once said WC talking to him when he was playing junior footy.
Graig Turley the same
The list goes on
Collingwood are plucking kids from their Academy. Where's this Academy??
Quanynoor shouldn't have been a academy selection.

Exactly right. The Academy system is a rort. Sydney dropping this yr only helps them, they get a free hit in the draft & can tuck away thier academy kids till a bid arrives. GWS did the same with Green, effectively getting 2 top 10 picks for the price of 1.
