Pick 53: Jack Graham

He's done. Served his purpose. Trade to Adelaide or Port. Tell them he is a premiership player and we want a first rounder. He is not getting any better. Shoulders are done as well.

If Don Pyke or Rory Sloane saw tonight’s game I fear for their mental health

Absolute butcher when he was in the middle.
He isn't a midfielder.
Soldo hit him 2 or 3 times with perfect taps and he took 4 hours to get rid of it.
When GWS got first touch in the middle by the time he moved the GWS players were gone.
Not sure why he keeps Ross out

Can’t get the ball, need to give Ross or RCD an opportunity

He takes a step every 5 minutes, he is too slow.
He dosent suit our game style.
He either slows us up or he causes a stoppage.
He was in the play all night and then i looked at his possessions he only had 3.
He got his hands to the ball a million times but was caught with it every time.

The standout moment that best shows where Graham is at,
The ball falls to the back of the pack 8 metres from goal,
Graham is in the clear, by the time he gets near it he fumbles and gets tackled over the boundary line.

Really think his lost his confidence in his body(shoulders).

His upper body looks so tightly padded I don’t think he can move his arms.

Has always been a bit fumbly but kept thinking it must have been wet whenever he went to take possession.

Graham’s value is doing the grunt work that frees up blokes like Cotchin and Prestia to just do their thing
He is not able to properly replace their roles when they’re out injured

What?
Is his role to fumble and constantly hold the ball up and cause stoppages??
Seriously. He was on the TV last night nearly every minute and then i saw he only got 6 possessions.
He can't play, he is too slow.
Shoulders or no shoulders, they don't connect to his legs.
Slowest player since Steve Jurica

Was one of our best only two weeks ago but was awful last night. Needs to be our tagger but then Hardwick doesn't tag.

That’s my thought. He looks top heavy. Shoulders can take a long time to properly come good, too.

Yes give him a rest and let his body recover. Ross is a pre packaged upgrade, rcd2 may cover him too. Our midfield was too shallow last night. Bolton needed more support with lambert getting tagged. Bring both of the above in. Not so sure about cotch, we need him but not so badly as to tweek his hammy again

This is exactly it. Injury has cruelled him like it does for many players who play the way he does. I just can't see him recovering from all the shoulder injuries he's had to play the role he's best at. It's such a shame.
