MRP

Seriously, the MRP is an embarrassment to the AFL. Sways in the breeze dependent upon whatever is the latest media agenda. Bit like rule interpretations really.

The AFL should quietly let Christian go during the off season and bring in someone that has not only played the game, but has sufficient integrity to maintain standards through the season. Any former players with a legal background? Maybe Michael Green could come back?

The right person for the MRP is Richo. Played the game, understands the nuances of the AFL and will be able to keep Benny informed as he'll be running the show next year

Serious multi tasking required due to huge cuts in personnel...
Have a man with full credentials on the books as we speak.... let's face it, the way they do this mrp *smile* is a joke so why not go next level farce!

Here's our man

They have to go through the process - advocates will crap on for a while, tribunal will ask a few questions and then deliberation will take max 10mins. Most of that time will be taking a leak and getting a cup of coffee

I’m backing the club to tell the AFL to GAGFd. Come out with a statement and say we are not paying the fines. I am seething with the biased *smile* our club has copped this year.

I think the club is more likely to pay the fine, say nothing, and win the flag

The AFL tribunal slipped up for a change by not punishing one of ours when then had the chance. For once commonsense prevailed. They must have been satisfied with the money they have raked in on the other spurious charges laid against our lads

Christensen and Hocking continually show bias in their witchhunt against the Tigers when favoured sons from other clubs could kill someone on the pitch and not be charged. The problem I have is Gil lets them get away with it

Good on Nick Riewoldt, he’s gone bang on Michael Christian. Said it was an absolvement (that wasn’t the word he used, I can’t remember the actual word he used) of responsibility by the MRO.
