changes V west coast

In: Nankervis, Broad, Dow
Out: Chol, Markov, Stack
This looks spot on. Hope these are the actual changes. In the tank: Higgins, Caddy, Egg, Chol. Dawkins and CJ if/when needed... Prestia if he gets some base back and pain free and Edwards with some praccy games under his belt.....and Rance in the GF - 2020 BIG GF story :p

RCD won't be happy
Injured. Think Ross won't be happy. He and Stack have been disappointing after impressing last year.

Good to see Dow debut. In the limited preseason games was really impressed with his high tempo movement in and out of packs. seems a fast twitch type of player. Good luck to him.

Exactly H.
Good hands in close.

I know Mabs hasn’t been great the past two weeks but I worry about playing two specialist ruckmen.
West Coast is the team to do it against. They are not a running side. I like the idea of two proper rucks to keep the pressure on NicNat all night and exploit their relief man. Dirty their NicNat dominance and dominate the debutant WIlliams. Bash him up.

Spot on. No place for a second ruck that would get brushed aside. Only way is to take them on with proper ruck set up.

Riley is out with a shoulder injury for 1 or 2 weeks, plus another off-season of building his tank will see him right, (out of contract so need to sign him first).

This year Dimma, Riewoldt, Cotch have all made glowing, "Potential/plays like", comments re Riley which doesn't mean coaches think he is quite ready now. An inside bull is what we need and hopefully Riley will be that in time.

I'd like to see Higlet given a crack at Dion's role.

Higlet has a big motor and a quick brain.

I'd be playing our best 22 this week.

In: Nank, Broady, Dow, Higlet, Caddy

Out: Mabs, Oleg, Stackman, Performing, George (best 22 but kick in arse)

time to muscle up and settle a premiership side

to fit in; Sheds, Dion (doubtful), Dave (doubtful)

leaving a finals outfit:

Grimes Balta Broad

Short Vlastuin Baker

Pickett Cotchy Kmac

Rioli JR. Sheds

George Tom Lambo

Foll; Nank, Dusty, Shai

Int; Houli, Caddy, Higlet, Ivan

Emg: Graham, Mabs, Dow, Stack
