Nah *smile* em. They been bitching and moaning and seeking attention ever since they came into our competition.

Ooooh look at us we've won 36 flags and they should count. Oooooh we should be allowed to wear our black and white stripe jumper and be called the Magpies even though there is already a team with that combination that has been playing in the comp for 100 years. Oooooh look at us we can sing a love song before the game and show everyone how passionate we are. Ooooooh Tom Lynch is nasty. Ooooooooh I hope Richmond is enjoying their season. Oooooooooohhh Richmond only win flags because of the MCG.

They can get *smile*.
Yep............I'll 2nd this one as well I do believe, Cheers Riddles ! :cupgold

Feeling a bit crook now. Must have been that last cashew.
I’m on the Aalborg akavit, better than scotch. #ucks your head only slightly but still makes you happy. Good Danish spirit with a beer chaser. Im going for 4:00am boys

I'm still up. As is my custom, I get off the GD thread during the game, excdept in breaks, then catch up post-game or next game, only responding to a few posts I particularly enjoy or agree with etc.

So I have just caught up, finally (after watching the remnants of the TV coverage) by staying up. And now rather stuffed. But still glowing with pride and joy in this club and team. That was such a roller-coaster of highs and lows. Still not sure how we won it.

It was an even tougher game than I expected. Palpable tension, especially as we seemed to keep blowing our few chances to put them away. I was taken aback by how nervous and fumbly our more experienced team was in the 1st half. My negative tendencies took over. Holding on to that 5pt lead in the last; I was sure they were going to goal at the death to knock us out by a point. Gawd Jack's behind was huge - knew then that only a draw was likely - so extra time.

Enormous effort; brilliant win, in the most onerous year since the World Wars and the Spanish Flu. Milestone history was made tonight by the RFC.

(Might post later today on some individual performances, but would only seem churlish now). But thank God for Toby Nankervis.

Gotta feel for Ladhams – if he gets a week for his hit on Balta, he'll miss the GF.

Oh, wait....

:rotfl1
Yeah what about the pathetic commentary from Channel 7 after he kicked the goal? "Oh he'll be playing next week!"

They were still 4 points down at the time!! Channel 7 is a disgrace.

I had a cup of tea and broke a tooth at half time but am enjoying the talk of drunkenness and tabaco smoking immensely
