He's looking over his stats sheet as we speak hasn't conceded yet.
When things aren’t going well for Cameron, his second efforts are putrid.
Who did we have to give to the original Bears.... Good argument that even the Bears wouldn't have wanted a RFC reject in that era.
They are further off it than many would like you to believe.
That really did look a lot like a home and away game.
I've heard a few here talk about watching a game with the commentary turned down. I've never tried it but tonight went as close to that as possible while still having commentary. My partner was watching the TV so I went online. All I could find was some Eastern European telecast of the game. I think the commentary was in Russian, could have been something else for all I know. Must say it was relaxing having no idea what they were saying. Bonus of the pronunciation of Daaaaaangerfield was gold.
Brisbane were totally missing in action. No structure, no idea what they were doing. They looked really crap.
Geelong may not have faced a competent opposition but you can only play the team that comes out of the other race. They looked good and clearly are good to make the Grand Final. But it will be very different next week.
If we bring our best we are a great chance of winning.
I was thinking earlier that I would prefer to play Brisbane, once I saw the free kick count at half time I changed my mind.
A testament to the Victorian sides too. Victorian teams in the hub for months, no going home, watching as the pandemic takes hold in Victoria. At the end of all of that it is 2 Victorian teams in the Grand Final. Hats off to both teams for making it to the Grand Final.
First all Victorian Grand Final since 2011, ironically happening in the first Grand Final outside of Victoria (Waverley was a long way out, but not quite that far!).

Maybe it was the weather difference but that game seemed way less intense than last night.
The way to beat Geelong is be in their faces all the time and don’t let them play. Brisbane didn’t do that.

Reckon this is good for us. All the commentary this week will be around Geelong and doing it for Stagerfield and Ablett. We will be under the radar and come out and smash them. The heat will be unrecognisable to them in comparison to their last 2 games. Easy kills are not generally the best preparation for a GF.
Not underestimating them but I think if we play near our best and bring the heat we’ll win. I thought the Port game was the hardest for us and if we got through that we’d win the GF.
