Sorry to introduce a thread about a Geelong player but ...... I cvan't help myself.
I do think the Dangerflop is a pretty reasonable player.
That said, he does seem to be incapable of asserting himself on games when it really matters.
He seems to disappear on a regular basis when the crunch comes.
And there was the media fawning over him in the lead-up to this game, saying he deserved to win a premiership.
Well, I guess the proof is in the pudding and he has yet again been found wanting when the pressure and heat is on.
Might be capable of carrying Dusty's bags, but only just.

Nice, General
Those stats show that Paddy just doesn't front up when the pressure is on.
To be deserving of premierships you have to perform on the big stage
Dangerflop has a history of disappearing on the big stage.

The media just have to call him for what he is, a very good home and away player.
When it comes to finals he folds and crumbles.
I hope they highlight him playing for free kicks

Went missing & not for the first time in a final.

Defining night. Not a big game player.

The debate between Dusty and Danger just got shredded
There shouldn't have been any debate prior to this GF which makes it even more preposterous now. It was a joke the media were even considering the comparison. Just goes to show what they know (nothing)!

The way he spoke during the week foreshadowed this kind of form. It was discussed on here a few days ago.

The surprising thing for me was his dishonourable intention to continually play for free kicks.

A quarter of his touches were from drawing the free kick. His only goal was from drawing a free kick.

Five minutes to go in a Grand Final, his side is down, the ball is kicked to him 15m from goal... and he dives forward hoping to draw a free kick.

The media said Dangerfield deserved a premiership, but the problem is he didn’t earn one.

His final act was waiting for a handball that ended up in Dusty‘s hands, then trying to tackle, and getting shrugged off to end up watching Dusty kick his 4th. Symbolic image right when Dusty kicks.

But to be honest, Dangerfield would‘ve been a completely different player and person at a club like ours.

All praise to Dimma for what he’s done with Dusty. It often takes a club to raise a champion. Scott hasn’t done the same with Dangerfield.

The Grand Final will forever cement the difference between these two star players now, and perhaps the differenCe between our respective coaches, too.

Despite what the media would have the masses believe, there hasn't been a debate for some time.

Dangerfield isn't fit to give the bloke tying Dusty's shoes a reach around.

He doesn't "deserve" anything. Show up when it matters like the GOAT (Dusty) does.

Just like the prelim.
Strutted around before half time yet when the whips started cracking he went to water.
Sook of the highest order and suits the handbaggers to a tee.
