The vibe B17.
This particular set of commentary is simply inflammatory and fallacious.
inflammatary probably, fallacious i dont think so.

I must admit I dislike the current Liberal government more than any before it because Morrison is fundamentally dishonest. not only does he lie, most pollies probably lie, or stretch the truth to some degree, or omit facts at some stage, but because he is dishonest about who he is. I used to not like the "Scotty from Marketing" nickname, but it is actually very apt.
everything that he says and does is about the photo or the quote.

i heard another of his great slogans today- 'lives and livelihoods" I wonder if they refer to the lives lost, and the livelihoods effected by his "robodebt" disaster.

No doubt its been a rough trot this particular term. No doubt also you will have a more passionate comment regarding.
The bush fires and the Covid happenings are something no others have dealt with in recent memory. Throw in the absolute intolerance and ease of use for any opposition group and social media lynch mob.
I don't think Australia has been more divided more in my lifetime. Yes the government needs to take responsibility for this, and move to turn it around. I also don't think the current Gov has the ability to do this by the way.
But to say that anyone who votes liberal supports rape is a tad OTT.
I've said it before, Labor need to change it up, they can't just bring the same stuff they rolled out last election with a different leader and think they have a winning formula. They might or should win, but it won't be what we need.

all right, I'll agree, that it is maybe just a tad OTT. (not that i said that- I said anyone who cares for women's safety and votes for this current bunch of Libs and Nats is a hypocrite.)

events like bushfires and covid, whilst incredibly stressful for those in Government managing the response, are actually a net benefit to any government come the next election- unless they manage to completely f'up their response, like a certain President who recently became one of the few to lose after just 1 term.

Mounting pressure starting to take it's toll.

I hope she's well, or recovers quickly.

Just a shame it coincided with her planned session at the NCP where she would have faced a decent session of questions from the press. Rather unfortunate timing.

Its understandable she isnt doing too well, knowing she mishandled her response to the alleged rape, and that mishandling allowed further attacks, and then knowing that she will be thrown under the bus by the leadership of the party if it keeps them out of trouble.

It's hard not to be cynical about Reynolds and Rapey Lehrman suddenly needing to be checked into hospital at the precise time they would have faced extensive scrutiny about ol' Rapey's raping ways, but let's give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe her heart skipped a beat when she realised that by saying it wasn't her job to report the raping, she had admitted to being an accessory after the fact. To a crime. Which is a crime.

This is a disgrace of a government. Literally a bunch of crooks.

I hope that Reynolds is not getting too down on herself. I can understand that she would be disappointed in herself in the way she handled the incident. But I have no doubt that she would've been acting on instruction from her superiors.
It is obviously having a big impact on her, she has a conscious, unusual for a politician.......... Morrison wouldn't lose a seconds sleep over it.

The ABC and Four Corners copped a lot of flack about the episode that outed Christian Porter as womaniser and dirt bag.

There's a lot self entitled, pretentious bullies in the Liberal party, it's good to see them being exposed as the hypocrites that they are.

"Questions have been raised about Federal Attorney-General Christian Porter's attitude towards women, after a Four Corners investigation revealed a history of sexism and inappropriate behaviour.

The alleged behaviour includes public drunkenness and making unwanted advances to women during his time in federal politics. Other allegations go back to when he was a champion debater in his university days, and later while a Crown prosecutor in WA."

The Liberals are showing great concern for Linda Reynolds, which is good, a pity they didn't show the same concern and care for Brittany Higgins.

It's all "he said, she said" according to Dutton

Dutton's wife would be one of those "what do you expect if you get drunk" types that flooded the Liberals FB page.

Probably, but she's got a good handle on her husband's character
