Geelong got burned with a lack of defensive running & lack of pressure against us, so they added Issac Smith and Shaun Higgins.

Went well today.

I can sort of, maybe, make a case for them recruiting Smith for that type of run.

I have no idea what they thought Higgins would add, in any capacity.

Everyone has barred up over the Pordaddllelaid children. They've flicked the bean to Rowell, Rankine and co. They should be pinching their nipples and cupping their balls to the Cygnets.

Oof. Can they play.

I think they play the pad my supercoach stats out so the media toss themselves off over how many touches we had.

Disposals per scoring shot
Richmond 12.5
Carlton 15.1
Collingwood 17.6
Bulldogs 24.4

Thats a heck of a lot of just passing the ball around to yourselves with nothing coming from it
Guess what stands up best in the heat n pressure of finals :cupgold :cupgold :cupgold coming soon :cupgold

Know Fagan (and Noble) pretty well. Wonder if Fagan’s worry wart, school teacher and slightly disingenuous nature might eventually wear a bit on Blandbane. Good for them early days building a foundation, organising, bit of discipline etc but I’ve got Blandbane dropping off a bit this year.

Gotta love the Swanth youth
Gotta hope Longmire doesn't coach the flair out of them....
Also, Glen Luff who's Norths list manager should have stayed at champion data playing with his stats because not selecting Logan McDonald is the biggest *smile* up since ...... ah, let me think!

It will be interesting to see how Port go today but the 3 sides who have played so far who were in the prelims and the grannie have been very rusty and two of them have lost.
I think we underestimate the fact that sides that go deep in finals start the season behind others and it is exacerbated this year because of the late end to the 2020 season.
Port play North of course but wouldn't be surprised if they have a scratchy win.

Yeah, this Phillips kid would want to be Sam Mitchell at minimum judging on McDonald's first-up performance.

And Braeden Campbell. What a left peg. I think I heard them say 8 of the Swanth 22 were Academy players, including of course Nick Blakey, a Melbourne-born kid whose Dad played 300 games but he lived in Sydney for a few years cos his Dad was assistant coach at the Swanth so clearly he was in danger of being lost to League so well done AFL nothing to see there that's not a rort at all.

You can get a Phillips most years, you don’t get key forwards with WAFL team of the year form most years.

And Norf have zero key forwards.

MaDnEsS.

Yes, especially with this year's draft supposedly packed with mids and Norf almost certain of another top-3 pick.

Glenn Luff. Chumpion Data. Lol.

Yep McDonald was a no brainer. Clearly the new Nick Reiwoldt

which only provides for the conclusion that;

LOLNorf recruiters are like the scarecrow in wizard of oz.

What's Noble like?

Not much personality but a sensible, well organised guy. Sort of a corporate guy, it’ll all be about structure and discipline and such. Might be good for Norf initially but I could see him boring the daylights out of them eventually.

Nah I expect he will improve them short term. Then if that then means someone else can capitalise after he’s gone as far as he can, so be it. He’ll be calm and patient and well organised but motivation wise...not so sure.

Bit like Eade -> Roos.
