Acoustic version of the team song in the rooms. Jack said it. We play low gear this part of season, BUT, we should be a bit cleaner in case we cop a shock performance from opposition.

Time to give Ross a full game.
Yeah we’re certainly a long way from our best this time of year. It’s cost us wins in the past but this year we’ve played two pretty ordinary teams so we’re 2-0. Swans will be interesting next week. Port in Adelaide will be very tough.

We’ve just gotta keep improving to bank a top 4 spot when we hit our straps at the end of the year.

we won by 5 goals in 2nd gear. every time the Dorks kicked a goal we answered easily.
Clarksons coaching turns games into grinds, and we repelled that negative influence.
we have the answers and the team.

Early rounds of the year were never at our best build slowly , people should know that now bank the 4 points plenty of upside and improvement.

Agree but we still could have won by a lot more than that. We butchered it going forward. If we use the ball well that’s a 10 goal win even with Clarko’s negative tactics.

Happy to start slow and looking a bit disinterested. Much like how we started in 2019 and 2020.

Awful game. Hawthorn flooded and only wanted to hit on the counter. We kept numbers back so game went nowhere, especially in second half. I’d agree it was a combination of terrible option selection going inside 50 & lack of forward pressure that limited our scoring. Take the win & move on but season starts in earnest next Saturday. Caddy, Rioli, Aarts & Pickett all under the pump in my view. Lynch looked a little better today but should just be told to compete at every contest. Goals will come soon enough. Vlaustin will be back but it’s forward of centre where the issue is.

Maybe is just to dumb to realise his on Carey's level unstoppable.
This is 18 weeks in a row.
Even when Geelong did tag him with Kolajazzi, He still brought it up.
There is a army of media waiting till someone can tag him..

+3 free kicks. (25-23)
Where were they paid in the 3rd row of the southern stand.
The only free kick i remember in our forward 50, was when Tippa got caught holding the ball.

don't know if they care how much they win by Rids.. percentage might be what yr getting at, but 4 points at this stage of the season is better and the Dorks were never going to win that.

and... Steglar? for the Dorks is a thug

Rioli has has bulk shots for two weeks. Needs em closer to goal but he is going OK IMHO.

Lambert and Dusty were best on and Marlion Pickett was better this week.

The team barely got out of 3rd gear and although I would have liked to thump them I'm happy to win it and move onto next week. Sydney will be a bigger challenge.
