Yep, we DEFINITELY get adjudicated to different interpretations of the rules.
Just saw a screen tab on frees. We are pretty close this week. Halfway through the fourth quarter we are only 23 to 12 down
Is it mostly from other clubs training to win free kicks like soccer players do?
I mean, look at every other club’s small forwards and mids dropping the shoulder into tackles to win free kicks for “too high”.
Aarts, George, Rioli, etc. aren’t soccer players like the soccer players at every other club.

can you believe that holding the ball not paid to shai for his tackle on crouch? Astounding non-decision. Ump saw the whole saga, and it was a saga, unfold from 10m away. Tried for a week to break the tackle, failed, then tried to get it on his boot with one hand, failed dismally. WTF? You really have to wonder sometimes. It was reminiscent of shed in the 15 EF.
I agree players like Lonnie drops his shoulder into the tackle or dives forward for a push in the back.
The umpires’ refusal to pay our key forwards chopping the arms free kicks, while dishing them out like Mars Bars to the opposition is beginning to beggar belief. That decision against Balta was an absolute joke, he touched King on the shoulder.
Some strange decisions yet again.
My bug bear, the under 15m kick. The one for Butlers goal, maybe went 10m. Goal for them.
When Jack had his kick for goal in the 4th too (from 50 the one that was touched on the line), Battle went over the mark, the umpire stood a good few paces behind him pointing to where the mark was, Battle did not move back an inch. The umpire gives up (you are allowed to pay 50 you know you peanut) and Jack has to kick from outside 50 and was touched on the line. If Battle was forced to man the mark ON the damn mark, then he may have for the distance.
These are easy things that they should be getting right.
Don't get me started on Lonie. Mastering the art of the Selwoo / MacRae freekick.
