I watched the video yesterday and I was left gobsmacked. Andrews haters call him a “dictator,” but this is some serious fascism *smile* and needs to be taken bloody seriously. Barilaro has to go and charges dropped. Immediately.
But it's not just Barilaro and the charges. The fact that the politicians/government can invoke this sort of response from a specialist anti-terror unit upon a civilian for no terror related reason is the scariest part of this.
Just waiting for the #SqoAnonmo narrative that "Hey, who doesn't have a mate who's a hit weird? Like all good Australians you stick by your mates and not abandon them when they need you most. I'm sure Australians out there would do the same thing."
