Thomson Dow

Must be very close to senior selection. I actually think he is the pick of the bunch from kids playing reserves.

On what basis?
You might have been dropping off your dry-cleaning before joining caesar and taz on the Anchor Marine hill, but his first quarter was electric. The way he pounces on a loose ball and finds someone to dish to is high class.

He was great in the first quarter. Last time I looked it's a 4 quarter game. Thomson disappeared after that.

I was interested to see Paddy Dow break a line and use the ball by hand brilliantly tonight. He's not using by hand often enough. And a late maturer.

Of the smalls in our reserves Thomson Dow can do that. And he's my favourite for IQ. (I think our reserves lack that. And I think that's a problem.)

I'm not convinced yet but I still think TD may have an AFL future at the level we're aiming. But I think he'll take time. For class I'm hoping for Nathan Foley.

I tried to get a beer but you were propping it up spook. ;)
BAAAAAARP! False - I was at home watching on youtube, hence spotted the two aforementioned unmistakable gents before they were later joined by someone who stood in a way that seemed ToO familiar. :p

It was probably me anyways back to Dow..
As said already I thought he was looking great in the first term but overall not near snr footy on the back of that performance. Pretty good in traffic & by hand (15 handballs) but I worry about his ability to kick on the opposite foot. Looks a little limited in that respect. I've thought that from the first time I've seen him. Hope he can work on it but it remains a weakness.

I like the look of this kid. Can play. Elite hands and gets to the right spots. Must play every game from now on.

I would also hope he plays tomorrow in the reserves to keep building his fitness.
