Round 16 the other games (only if you care)

Re Eagles,Pies and Tigers..end of each teams eras. Same reasons for all but more exaggerated for Tigers.

West Coast are a bunch of phoneys. They’re only ever any good on their home deck and with a huge free kick bias.

And they can get rid of Simpson too. He’s done.

Umpire just called “incorrect disposal” in a tackle. When was the last time we received a free kick like that for a tackle ? 2017 ? “Play ooooon !”

Four oldest teams to the end of Round 15

27.63 Geelong (max 28.22)
26.61 Richmond (max 27.14)
26.25 West Coast (max 27.07, today 26.97)
25.81 Collingwood (max 27.11)

Is anyone testing the water down at Geelong?

if we can get our *smile* together,

an elimination final against Sydney would be pretty good way

to limber up for a semi against Geelong

Cats made a last ditch effort by recruiting veterans and almost veterans, Smith, Higgins, Jenkins, Dahlhous, Cameron. I feel they will drop off very quickly after this year, 12 players 30yo or older.

We said that this year about Cats but it has been us that has dropped off

Why is Steven Tyler from Aerosmith playing for Collingwood? A cautionary tale for all those who are on the verge of the rock 'n roll lifestyle, these are the crazy decisions people make after partying too hard.

True. And I believe age is playing a part in our demise. To me Cameron has made a big difference for Geelong. They were dodgy early games without him.. Personally I can't see how you can replace 17 players 28 yo and over and remain competitive in the next 3 or 4 years. I wasn't that confident Tigers would be premiership material this year. Injuries haven't helped.
