Goodbye Mabior Chol

Needs to be moved on. Not the answer. Too timid to play successful afl football, along with his lack of endurance makes him a liability.

Never again. Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever again. Never.

Never. Never again.

I've been a fan for a long time, but I've seen enough. Gotta feeling Biggie's no better. Looks like Aliir is the only good African in this league. CJ of Dorks getting there.

Been saying for 3 years he can’t play
And guess what
He can’t !!!

Late in the last quarter, he was chasing an opponent, someone stood in front of him, he stopped. If Nank was there, the player would be lying on the ground.

Was sitting on Level 4 at Punt Road End & watched Chol crash in the last quarter. The Cameron mark that got them going, Chol refused to get involved - was flat footed in no man’s land 30 metres away.

Collingwood then exposed him for the non competitive player that he is with the chip kick to Grundy to seal the game. Shows the complete disregard the opposition had for him. He should be embarrassed.

Thought he was alright, taking on Grundy is clearly a tough assignment. His ruck work was solid but he could have imposed himself on a few more contests. I'd keep playing him for the rest of the year and then make a decision on him. Not ready to give up on him just yet.

Has no defensive skills .
Twice in the last quarter he was on the spot to punch in marking contests and couldn’t do it.
was absolutely thrashed at the centre bounces in the last quarter.

can only play in bursts as a ruckman otherwise there is no place for him on our list.

Sure I am hacked off at yet another abysmal performance from him but are you really satisfied with what Chol brings to the game?
And I get that feeling but Chol is being asked to do way more than most players. Being an undersized and not match-hardened 3rd-string ruck going up 4 quarters against a Grundy is like going rounds with a heavyweight. We know his endurance is not the best, that isn't that surprising for a big bloke. So he is going to tire toward the end games. Add in the battering his body is taking and again it's no surprise that a Grundy who has been resting in the pocket for the previous 5 minutes should out-mark him.
All of that said if we weren't down 2 rucks I doubt he'd be getting a game. His endurance is a problem. His work off the ball is a problem. But unlike say, Vickery, I think he is giving his best it just isn't quite good enough. I don't think labels like "lazy" or "pathetic" are fair.

anything over pick 99, and ill be reporting RFC to ICAC.

its like Nank coaches him on defensive positioning, and he does the opposite.

close game, opponents score a point, Short is gonna go down the line LOOKING FOR A RUCKMAN 98 time out of 100.

behind the goal footage shows Mabs standing in space between CHB and FB on his own, looking up the line.

I know its not his fault hes not Toby Nankervis,

but how do you spend 6 years getting paid $1m buck, learning how to ruck,

and stand in that spot at that time?
